60 Minutes

60 Minutes A little Friday night diversion from the 60 Minutes archives, and only because I saw a promo for the movie on TV a few minutes ago. In 1983, Morley Safer met George Finn, the real "Rain Man" (later portrayed by Dustin Hoffman on the big screen). As you can see, Finn is a master of calendar calculation.

Hi Everyone,
In case you missed Sunday's show, all segments are available at http://60minutes.com. Plus, we featured our second 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair Poll. Check it out below and give your input. There's a Facebook-related question too - apparently a large number of respondents had never heard of it (???!!!).

Wishing all a great week,
Daniel @ 60 Minutes

60 Minutes Watching coverage of the tsunami that hit Samoa and the powerful earthquake that has rocked parts of Indonesia, I couldn't help but think of the 2004 tsunami that killed more than 200,000 people. In 2005, Bob Simon reported an incredible story of survival. The Moken people of the Andaman Sea, also known as "Sea Gypsies," somehow knew the tsunami was coming and managed to survive its deadly force.
