Stlh mikir smp bola lampu di dlm otknya nyala,do'i pun mngajak slh st DiscJockey yg ckp trnm di MKS..DJ Wanna-D for sure!! Aransemen udh p...ux,beat udh jd,g ktinggln brbgai mcm techno-sound diulek smp jd.. Hhmmm..Tp koq,rsnya msh blm mantap!? Nah,dtglah Fikry mbuka pintu studio..Otomatis mata Ccenk & Wanna-D tertuju kpd Fikry.. Jdlah Fikry yg melengkapi aransemen with a distortion sound of guitar.. With the capacity to play anything from minimal, electro to progressive techno, Milinka describes her cutting edge DJing style as deep, groovey, techy house which guarantees jam packed dance floors. Hence, it’s not surprising Milinka has developed an extremely loyal fan base across the global, ensuring she returns to her favorite world venues.
A born music junkie, Milinka kicked off her professional DJing career by launching Indonesia’s very first DJing duo, the Electric Barbarellas, which transformed the nation’s house music scene by winning the “Best Breakthrough” award.
However, like so many top performers, Milinka was seen as the creative force behind the Barbarellas’ success, hence it was only natural she would eventually break away and become Indonesia’s finest tech house DJ! To support this claim, Milinka has since collected numerous DJing awards including Best Female DJ. Domestically, Milinka is the very first and one and only female DJ nominated as the Best Indonesian DJ by the Indonesian Premier REDMA AWARD 2009.
Not only does Milinka host events at Asia’s premier clubs, but she spends the majority of her time travelling across the globe.
Milinka has spent the summer of 2009 touring Europe where she is fast establishing herself as one of the best Asian DJs to spin internationally!
Not only did Milinka play at Street Parade, Alte Borse (both Switzerland) and Nachtschicht (Germany), but she also thrilled crowds with regular deep, progressive and tech house sets with Tomoki (Ministry of Sound London/ Womb Japan) at Club 54 and 1001 in London (UK).
And after previously playing for Pete Tong’s Wonderland Plastik Lounge and with Sonique at Kool Waters Eden (both Ibiza), together with sets at Rheingold and Big Bang at Universal Dog, Lahr (Germany), spinning with Monika Kruse, Mr Mike and Patrick Lindsley. Milinka is currently the only Indonesian DJ to spin throughout Europe and has already secured International club bookings for 2010!
